No one likes delays
Sometimes delays happen that are outside our control – for example, from solicitors, banks, estate agents, or issues collecting keys. That’s why we offer our Late Key Waiver to give you peace of mind and save you potential extra costs.
The Late Key Waiver covers delays in receiving keys up to 2 hours from the agreed access time (usually 2pm, unless another time is agreed in writing). Normally, waiting time beyond 2pm is charged at £25 per hour per man, but with the Late Key Waiver, your removal team will wait up to 2 hours without extra charges. The team will continue unloading until 7pm or until their working hours end according to the Working Time Directive.
For a set fee (shown on your individual removal quote), the Late Key Waiver ensures your team can wait for up to two hours, giving you flexibility and peace of mind.
Please note, if delays exceed 3 hours, we may not be able to complete the removal on the same day due to staff working time regulations. We will discuss this with you at the earliest opportunity on moving day and come up with a plan to accommodate you and our teams in the most cost effective and stress-free way.
